- Positive Inotropic- strengthens and increases force
- Negative Chronotropic- slows and reduces heart rate
- Negative Dronotropic- slows and decreases AV node conduction

- increase in coronary circulation
- promotes diuresis
- eases dyspnea, cough, and cyanosis
