It is used to assess any given situation or incident and decide on the best course of action to take

IN01 Initial Action : When would you use ‘TEDS’ and what do you combine it with?
A
Interviewing, you would combine that with why, when, what, where, who and how (these are open ended questions). E.g TELL me WHY you stole the car?

- Surname and all first names (ask the spelling)
- Full residential address and phone number
- Occupation
- Employer – full address of employment and phone number(s)
- Date of birth
- E-mail address
- Mobile phone number.
