think BIG, include the area the offender approached/entered/left the scene as well as vehicles

unauthorised entry, notebook recording, brief authorised people, explore and report suspicious activity, no contaminating it yourself, think of animals
what information is required before taking up scene guard
who is authorised, where the scene boundaries, where is the entry point, what route is to be taken, where is the exit, what happened, are there any suspects
