Diskus
A
- check dose counter to the see amount of doses remaining
- open inhaler using thumb grip slide
- hold inhaler horizontally and load dose by moving the lever downwards. You will hear a click.
4 exhale away from the inhaler. - take a QUICK and DEEP breath
- hold for 10 seconds or if you cant make it to 10 seconds, as long as you can.
- If corticosteroid, rinse mouth.

- slide open mouth pience cover. You will hear a click.
- breath out away from the inhaler.
- take a QUICK and DEEP breath
- hold for 10 seconds or if you cant make it to 10 seconds, as long as you can.
- slide back cover to close mouthpiece.

A
- remove cover
- rotate brown grip in one direction
- rotate it back in the other direction and you will hear a click.
- exhale away from the inhaler
- hold flex haler horizontally and take a QUICK and DEEP breath.
- hold for 10 seconds or if you cant make it to 10 seconds, as long as you can.
- close cap

Handihaler
A
- Open dust cap
- Open mouthpiece
- Load capsule
- Close mouthpiece. You will hear a click.
- Press piercing button on the side once. You will hear another click.
- exhale away from the inhaler.
- Hold inhaler horizontally. Take QUICK and DEEP breath. You should hear the capsule rattle.
- Hold for 10 seconds or if you cant make it to 10 seconds, as long as you can.
- Breath through the mouthpiece again to make sure you get the complete dose.
- Open mouthpiece to remove the capsule.
- Close mouthpiece and dustcap.

Metered-dose inhaler (MDI)
A
- remove cap
- shake inhaler
- tilt head back slightly
- exhale away
- Put the inhaler in you mouth and start taking a SLOW and DEEP breath at the same time you press down on the top.
- Hold for 10 seconds or if you cant make it to 10 seconds, as long as you can.
- If you have to repeat, wait 30 seconds in between each dose.

- shake inhaler
- put spacer on

- Put the spacer in you mouth and start taking a SLOW and DEEP breath at the same time you press down on the top.
- Hold for 10 seconds or if you cant make it to 10 seconds, as long as you can.
- If you have to repeat, wait 30 seconds in between each dose.

A
- hold respimat stright up
- turn the transpaent base in the direction of the arrow
- open the cap, you will hear a click
- tilt head back slightly
- exhale away
- Put the respimat in your mouth, start taking a SLOW and DEEP breath and press the dose dispensing button at the same time.

Twisthaler
A
- hold twist haler stright up
- rotate the cap in a counterclockwise direction to opne
- lifting the cap will load the dose (the dose counter on the base will go down by 1)
- make sure the indented arrow is located directly above the dose counter
- exhaler away
- put twisthaler in your mouth horizontally. Take a QUICK and DEEP breath.
- Hold for 10 seconds or if you cant make it to 10 seconds, as long as you can.
- put the ca[ ack on by rotating in the clockwise direction and gently pressing down. You will hear a click.
