Purpose of double cleanse:

Cleanser is a combination of oil & water soluble substance
- oil: dissolve grease
- water: dissolve other substances
Emulsion
- dispersion of one phase into another
- an homogenous mixture of two substances not mixing under normal condition

Emulsifier added to give stability & stop it from separating out again

How to choose cleanser: pH value : 4.5 - 7 Human skin pH: 5.5 - 5.7 (over cleanse: - dehydration, -flaky peel skin -irritation -sensitive)
