A

OSPF is a link-state protocol, whereas RIP is a distance-vector protocol.
OSPF uses the Dijkstra SPF algorithm, while RIP uses the Bellman-Ford algorithm.
OSPF calculates the best route based on cost (bandwidth), while RIP only considers hop count (maximum of 15 hops).
OSPF converges faster and more efficiently than RIP, especially in large networks.

If there is no loopback, the highest IP address of an active physical interface is used.
The Router ID does not change unless OSPF is restarted or the router is rebooted.
