2) Known indirectly but corroborated (they think/hearsay)
3) Known indirectly (not themselves)
4) Not Known (anonymous)

What does the term ‘Sanetisation’ mean?
The process of removing sensitive or classified information from a document before making it public
How long can you Archive Intelligence for?
For only as long as it is relevant, after that dispose of it properly
What is the Police National Database (PND) ?
• Allows the Police to search, access & share local forces information
• Recent updated info
• Info from 3x5x2
What are some benefits for PND?
• Identifies new lines of enquiry
• identifies new patterns in crime
• Improves decision making
When can information be shared?
• EMERGEMCY situations- e.g. RTC
• ROUTINE- ASB, Social Care
