What is Intelligence ?
Intelligence is Info concerning incidents, events or people it is subject to a system of processing it is not always evidence.
Direction is the first part of the intelligence cycle, what does it cover?
Having a focussed collection plan
Collection is the second part of the intelligence cycle, what does it cover?
Collection of intelligence
- Must consider human rights
Evaluation is the third part of the intelligence cycle, what system do we use at this stage?

Analysis is the fourth part of the intelligence cycle, what does this stage cover?
-Analysis carried out
-Make best possible use of known info
-produce a predictive element
What is the last part of the intelligence cycle ?
Dissemination
When can dissemination be dealt with?
Only when all other parts of the intelligence cycle have been worked through.
This is where the intelligence specialist decides what to do with the info/intel.
