The cost of borrowing money or the reward for saving money
What is unemployment?
The number of people willing to work but out of work and seeking work

Wages that are left after paying tax and national insurance
What is Discretionary income?
What is left after people pay all of their bills
What is Globalisation?
The process by which businesses start operating on an international scale
What is Labour Migration?
A fresh pool of applicants willing to carry out jobs. This means that businesses can hire the most talented employees
What is an export?
A product that the UK sells to overseas markets
What is International trade?
The exchange of goods and services between different countries
What are Exchange rates?
The price of one currency in exchange for another
What is Legislation?
The collective term for laws
What is consumer spending?
The value of the goods and services purchased by, or on the behalf of residents
What is income?
Money received, especially on a regular basis, for work or through investments
