Q

Evaluation - do early relationships influence our later ones?

A

STRENGTH - evidence to support - Hazan and Shaver positive correlation 56% secure 25% avoidant and 19% resistant. - however methodological issues as self report

LIMITATION - research to reject hypothesis- Fraley reviewed 27 samples where infants were assessed in infancy and later reassessed (1 month to 20 years later) and he found low correlations - criticises internal workings g model ans continuity hypothesis- further real life evidence that attachment can be reversed with Czech twins - PEELEEL explain results of Rutter and Czech twins
