How can you determine the ovarian reserve with blood tests?
A
- FSH day 2-5 of cycle - if high = low reserve, if low = high reserve.
- AMH at any time - high = good reserve

What are the causes of anovulation?
A
- PCOS - normal/high gonadotrophins
- Hypothalamic amenorrhoea - low gonadotrophins
- Hypothyroidism/hyperprolactinaemia

USS female pelvis:
- Fibroids
- Vaginal septum
- Adhesions
- Polyps

What can reduce female tubal patency causing infertility and how is it visualised?
A
- Scarred, blocked, distorted, absent
- Commonly due to STIs causing PID
- Hysterosalpingogram x-ray
