Give a movement example and relate it to how it shows the subject matter
-One dancer is lying in a prone position centre stage, facing upstage with the other dancer on top of him facing same direction, with his legs in a straddle, but supported by his hands. At this movement the french band appear from upstage right and dance and play their instruments. The intimate, romantic and comical movement demonstrates the 2 males close bond and romance, and the band appearing at this moment reinforces the stereotypical love found in Paris and creates humour as their moment was interrupted.
=shown as choreographic feature of humour inspired by British carry on films
Give another movement example and relate it to subject matter of the work.
-2 males stood centre stage, holding each other’s hands, one dancer is thrown up into the air, remaining holding hands, and they look at each other. The jump clearly illustrates their playful relationship and the hand connection shows their trust and love for one another
