- eyes may be ‘stuck together’ in the morning

A
normally a self-limiting condition that settles within 1-2 weeks
1. topical chloramephenicol - given 2-3 hourly
2. alternatively topical fusidic acid (pregnant women)

what is the management for infective conjunctivitis in contact users?
A
- topical fluoresceins should be used to identify any corneal staining
- topical chloramphenicol
- contact lens should not be worsen during an episode of conjunctivitis
