What complications increase if a pregnant women has a UTI?

Pyelonephritis, PROM, pre-term labour

A pregnant women is Dx to have a UTI in the 1st trimester, she has previously had an adverse reaction to nitrofurantoin and usually is given trimethoprim when she has a UTI - how would you treat her?
A
7 days of cefalexin or amoxicillin

How is pyelonephritis treated?
A
7-10 days of cefalexin, co-amox, trimethoprim or ciprofloxacin
