- protozoa that causes diarrhoea- usually small intestines but can be both
- faecal float and idexx antigen test - equal good sense and spec. Antigen test sl better. Can also wet mount or stain check
- fenbendazole 50mg/kg 3-5 days. If no improvement, then add in metronidazole
- may be zoonotic depends on strain. Cat strain F is not, dogs A / B might be.
