  1. Milking the urethra and getting a discharge
  2. If no discharge, then getting a urethral swab which shows 2 or more PMNs/hpf

  1. Neisseria gonorrhea
  2. Chlamydia trachomatis

Test: first catch urine NAATs for gonorrhea and chlamydia
