Steps to properly disinfect your implements (7)
1) Wash surface/implements
2) rinse
3) apply disinfectant
4) wet surface for min contact time
5) remove implements from disinfectant w/ gloves or tongs
6) rinse/dry completely
7) Store in clean, closed, dry container/drawer
How often must disinfectant be changed? (Two parts)
Daily, and if any debris or cloudy solution
Give two examples of items which cannot be disinfected and must disposed of after use
1) paper towels
2) tissue
