Very little social mobility. Your role determined by background. Social mobility.

A
Upper middle and lower class available in a society. It allows for a degree of mobility. So its your background + abilities. Less social stability.

A
When it affects you in your own lifetime. mobility in your lifetime.

Intergenerational mobility
A
Consider your parents. If you’re parents are middle class but you end up being upper class, then we can see a change in social group between the generations.
