  1. Britain had lots of iron to make machines, railways and cannons from. In the beginning of the 18th century iron makers found a way to extract pure iron out of iron ore.

2.also had lots of clay to give to the pottery industry so that they could make cups, bowls and other products.

  1. England’s coal mines boomed during the Industrial Revolution. Miners dug deeper into the earth to find as much coal as they could and in the 19th century England became the world’s largest coal producing country

Poor Victorians had a rough and hard life, often
ending up in the workhouse or early death. This is because they had a lack of sanitisation and were usually in contaminated areas with disease. Also they barely had access to doctors.
