What is Inductive reasoning?
A
Based on previous data you find trend in data and extrapolate the data for future. For example given population of a city for past years, predicting what future population may look like.

What is deductive reasoning?
A
In deductive reasoning we start with some facts and use those to come up with other facts. So we are sure that in future that will happen. But that cannot be said for inductive reasoning.
For example starting with (x + y)^2 and proving its x2 + 2xy + y2.
