A

ID, Flight number, All airports, Type of operation (ex IFR), List of current MELs, Fuel burn, Minimum fuel supply, Weather reports, forecasts, Intermediate stops, Alternate airports, Captain’s name, Route of flight, Name of each crew member, Type of aircraft, Company name, and any other reports with the latest data.

A

What are the considerations when choosing an alternate under exemption 3585?

A

1 nav rule - must add 400’ to ceiling and 1 mile to vis.
2 nav rule - must add 200’ and 1/2 mile to the higher of the two approaches at the runways. The two approaches must be from different nav facilities.

How to use type I fluid?

A

Must be heated to 140 to 180 degrees before using.
Used primarily as a deicer. Not used for anti ice.
Standard mix used by go jet – 50/50.
Orange to pink color

This is an anti ice agent.  
Starts flowing off at 30 knots.
Used at 100% mix at -13 degrees F below OAT.
Clear to amber color.
Can be used as a deicer.
