What is an indirect object pronoun and where is it used?
An indirect object pronoun is a word that is indirectly affected by the verb. They are used when describing to whom or for whom an action is done. An I.O.P. is the receiver of the action of the verb in a sentence. The I.O.P. is placed before the verb in a sentence i.e. yo te compro el libro. The IOP IS TE (i buy YOU the book).
IOP + CONJUGATED VERB
IOP (RECEIVES THE ACTION OF THE VERB) + CONJUGATED VERB + INFINITIVE VERB + DOP (PERFORMS THE ACTION)
