When to use Indirect pronouns?

When replacing à and a noun after a verb.

Note: If future tense place pronoun between two verbs.
If past tense place pronoun before two verbs.

For example. I tell Jimmy. I tell him.
Je dis à Jimmy. Je lui dis.
