How do we implement a Surrender Plan? (7 points)

A
  • start with a positive attitude
  • ask at any time for his/her surrender
  • ask subject to explain reluctance to surrender
  • reassure subject that surrender is the wisest course
  • conduct yourself toward the subject as though he or she is about to surrender
  • talk to the subject about details of the surrender process
  • explain why it is better to surrender sooner rather than later if possible allow the subject to surrender with dignity
