What should be done to the ice pack before applying it to the affected area?
The ice inside should be crushed so that it is soft and you also have to wrap it up so it doesn’t cause any ice burns

Give a sporting example of an abrasion. What is the treatment required for an abrasion?
Playing basket ball and you trip and scrap your knee. You will need to clean out the wound and apply compression
What is a laceration
A deep cut or tear in the skin or flesh
Most superficial lacerations do not need to be sutured. When would you suture a superficial laceration?
When the laceration is split too much and is completely open
What is a blister and what can cause one
A blister is a small pocket of body fluid within the upper layer of the skin typically caused by forceful rubbing, burning or freezing.
