Imperialism
.a policy of extending a country’s power and influence through diplomacy or military force.
Scramble for Africa
.The reasons for African colonisation were mainly economic, political and religious. During this time of colonisation, an economic depression was occurring in Europe, and powerful countries such as Germany, France, and Great Britain, were losing money.
Isolationism
.a policy of remaining apart from the affairs or interests of other groups, especially the political affairs of other countries.
Triple Alliance
. Germany, Austria-Hungary, and Italy.

.This policy was designed to turn Germany into a world power by building an overseas empire, growing its world trade and increasing its naval power.
