What is the ICD 10 criteria for a diagnosis of schizophrenia? (2)
> 1 month history
At least 1 of…
- Thought echo, broadcast, withdrawal, insertion
- Passivity experiences
- Third person auditory hallucinations
- Persistent delusions/delusional perceptions
NOT related to drug/alcohol intoxication or withdrawal or overt brain disease or prominent affective disorder
What is the ICD 10 criteria for a diagnosis of OCD? (1)
Obsessions or compulsions on most days for at least 2 weeks
What is the ICD 10 criteria for a diagnosis of depression? (2)
- On most days for at least 2 weeks of 2/3 core symptoms of low mood, anhedonia or decreased energy
- Additional symptoms (mild total of 4, mod 6, severe 8)
- With or without psychotic symptoms
What is the ICD 10 criteria for a diagnosis of bipolar disorder? (2)
At least 2 episodes, at least one to be hypomania or mania.
Individual episodes can be manic, hypomanic, depressed or mixed.
What is the ICD 10 criteria for a diagnosis of mania? (2)
Predominantly elevated/irritable mood abnormal for the individual lasting at least 1 week.
At least 3 of the following that are severe enough to cause interference in daily functioning.
