Entertainer’s stance (Booth)
An unbalanced emphasis on displaying or using he speaker’s personality, ability, or characteristics at the expense of a solid message.
pathos
How the speaker makes a connection with the audience.
pedant’s stance (Booth)
ignoring or underplaying the personal relationship of speaker and audience.
rhetorical balance (booth)
Having a proper balance of all stances.
rhetorical exigence (bitzer)
an exigence is rhetorical when it is capable of change.
rhetorical stance (booth)
A proper balance among three elements that are at work in any communicative effort.
logos
The quality and arrangement of the message.
