  • Before being charged with a crime, a grand jury must agree there is enough evidence to send them to trial.
  • They shall not be deprived of their life, liberty, or property without the due process of law.
  • They shall not be compelled to be a self-witness and cannot be subjected to double jeopardy.
  • The government must justly compensate for taken private land.
