What is the Imperfect tense used for?
A
It is used to give a description of a past event. Or, to indicate an action that was ongoing when something else took place.

How do you form the Imperfect tense?
A
Use the same verb stem as the one being used for the present tense. Take out -er if needed. Add the correct ending to the stem depending on the pronoun being used.
