What are the conjugation rules for imparfait?
- Être is the only irregular verb
- Take the stem from the present form of third person singular (nous)
- Use the appropriate ending: -ais, -ais, -ait, -ions, -iez, aient
Most of the time we played computer games together
La plupart du temps, nous jouions ensemble à des jeux informatiques.
It was cold
Il faisait froid
In the past, we used carbon as our main source of energy
Dans le passé, nous utilisions le charbon comme notre principale source d’énergie.
