A

Impacts:
Acids attack statues, gravestones and buuldings, especially if they are made from limestone.
Close to the source of the pollutants , the gases are often breathed in by people, causing respiratory problems.
The acid rain damages trees , especially coniferous tres.
Aluminum is leached out of the soil. This is washed into streams, rivers an lakes where it proves to be toxic for aquatic life.

How does global warming occur?

A

Green house gases trap heat radiated by the earth, stoppong it escaping into space and so heating the atmosphere. This greenhouse effect is natural but it has been enhanced by human activity such as the burning of fossil fuels.
