Give 6 post-op. instructions for removal of 8s:
- Pain - use paracetamol NOT aspirin as it can promote bleeding
- Swelling - increases up to 48 hours
- Trismus
- Bruising
- Soft diet
- Fluids and rest
List 5 complications of 8s removal:
- Haemorrhage
- Infection
- Haematomas
- Jaw fracture
- Damage to adjacent structures
