Increase in ICT has led to increase in electricity consumption - uses valuable resources.

Possible to link a person’s details from numerous databases - create a profile. Open to abuse - future employers could look at this information.
Ethical: Hacking
White hat hackers - hack for good - find bugs/glitches and notifies correct body to fix it. But, this is still hacking - illegal.
Ethical: CCTV
Big brother - you could be caught on CCTV about 10 times a day. Good - monitors crime, Bad - invasion of privacy.
Legal: Terrorism
Some websites can encourage terrorism, e.g. bomb making.

Grooming, photographic images, chat rooms

Legal: Fraud
Counterfeit goods sold, fake websites created, personal details stolen, money stolen.
Social: Work
Organisation works globally - be on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (time zones) - demanding on the individual - stressful
Social: Cyberbullying
Upload of videos, contacting/bullying by an electronic device. Some people commit suicide - trolls encourage it
Social: Local shops
Large supermarkets trade 24 hour, plus have power to control prices - low prices. Small shops can’t compete.
