Q

Define NK cells and ADCC. Discuss the effect of Class I MHC expression levels on susceptibility of target cells to CTL and NK cells, respectively. Describe the mechanism for ADCC.

A

NK cells are lymphocytes that are larger than others, (arge granular lymphocyte)

No VDJ rearrangement, so not adaptive
Recognizes damaged or stressed cells
ALso as FC receptors for IgG bound to our cells
