S/S- flulike illness sore throats, fever, body aches, lymphadenopathy, weight loss, fatigue, diarrhea, and night sweats. Decreased T cells, opportunistic infections, pneumonia, fever, malignancies.
Transmitted through sexual contact and needle sharing.
Diagnostic- ELISA test Western Blot test.
Treatment- HAART
