How do you deal with a parent unwilling to give MMR vaccine to their child?

A
  1. Listen to their fears and don’t judge them

  3. Explain this study was conducted very poorly and has been widely discredited, Andrew Wakefield is now no longer allowed practice medicine in the UK
  4. Explain measles, mumps and rubella are highly contagious and potentially fatal diseases
  5. Explain that taking this vaccine will prevent your child developing these potentially fatal diseases
