What are lymphocytes?
A
A type of white blood cell that is produced in the bone marrow.

Filter the lymph and remove foreign materials

Stores blood and destroys damaged blood cells

Activates a type of lymphocyte called T cells. They are produced in the bone marrow, but mature in the thymus gland.

Proteins produced by B lymphocytes (B cells) that react with a foreign antigen.
