What requirements are there for planning CT over regular CT?
A
Wide bore
Flat top couch to mimic linac
Indexable couch for immobilisation
Lasers for positioning for consistent setup

What would you do if you were called to set for a 4DCT where a patient coughed/moved?
A
Assess the images first: could be that image is not distorted in the region of the TV
Think about if it is likely to happen again (if patient has severe cough is it practical to do another?)
Can CT again under IRMER but would need justification again for third
Ask MPE for advice
