A cough
to force out air suddenly and noisily through your throat, for example when you have a cold
A headache(a backache, earache, stomach ache, toothache)
a continuous pain in the head
A rash
an area of red spots on a person’s skin, caused by an illness or a reaction to something
A temperature
the measurement of how hot somebody’s body is
Sunburn
the condition of having painful red skin because you have spent too much time in the sun
To be sick / to vomit / to throw up
to bring food from the stomach back out through the mouth
To sneeze
to have air come suddenly and noisily out through your nose and mouth in a way that you cannot control, for example because you have a cold
To hurt/ to ache
to feel a continuous pain that is not severe
Swollen
larger than normal, especially as a result of a disease or an injury
To bleed
to lose blood, especially from a wound or an injury
To faint = to pass out
feeling weak and tired and likely to become unconscious
Diarrhea
an illness in which waste matter is emptied from the bowels much more frequently than normal, and in liquid form
Blister
a swelling (= an area that is larger and rounder than normal) on the surface of the skin that is filled with liquid and is caused, for example, by rubbing or burning
A cold
having a lower than usual temperature; having a temperature lower than the human body
Flu
a serious disease caused by a virus, that causes a high temperature, severe pains and weakness
