Best friend of Akhilleus, enters battle in Akhilleus’ place in book sixteen and his death at the hands of Hektor prompts Akhilleus to return to battle

Son of Anchises and goddess Aphrodite, rescued from onslaught by Poseidon

Wife of Hektor who tries to persuade Hektor to be more cautious
Briseis
Woman captured by Greeks in a raid and given to Akhilleus as a slave, Agamemnon took her by force starting their quarrel.
Kryseis
Daughter of Kryses, priest of Apollo. Captured by Greeks in a raid and given to Agamemnon as a slave, his refusal to give her back to her father leads Apollo to send a plague on the Greeks
Hektor
Son of Priam and Hekabe and leading warriors of the Trojans. With Apollo’s help, he kills Patroklos in book sixteen
Paris (Alexandros)
He challenges Menelaos to a duel but is rescued from the fight by Aphrodite
