1: Solitariness of God

A
  1. We believe that God is solitary in His majesty, unique in His excellency,
    and peerless in His perfection.
    He sustains all, but is Himself independent of all.
    He gives to all but is sustained by none.

2: Decrees of God

    expresses His eternal fixed purposes or commands
    and that He is the final issuer of authority.
    It is His revealed will to mankind
    in regards to our past, present, and future.

3: Knowledge of God

A
3. We believe that God is omniscient 
and has all knowledge and wisdom. 
Nothing exists or occurs without God’s knowledge. 
He has perfect knowledge 
of the past, present, and future 
and His knowledge is complete.

4: Foreknowledge of God

A
4. We believe that God established 
and planned everything from the beginning 
according to His will and purpose.  
Since He is the beginning and the end, 
He knows all and is all.

5: Supremacy of God

5. We believe that God is the source 
that all are ultimately dependent upon 
in the cosmos. 
Everything is subordinate 
to His power and rule 
over Heaven and Earth. 
Nothing can exceed His Lordship.

6: Sovereignty of God

  1. We believe that God’s essential nature
    is His purity and righteousness.
    His holiness is a quality of character and action that is in harmony with God’s nature
    and expressed will.

9: Power of God

  1. We believe that the Power of God
    is His infinite, eternal and
    incomprehensible omnipotence
    that demonstrates His ability to bring to pass whatever He pleases.

10: Faithfulness of God

10.  We believe that God 
is the supreme example of faithfulness. 
He can be trusted 
because He is completely trustworthy. 
God is constant, steady and true. 
God will never betray our confidence in Him.

11: Goodness of God

A
  1. We believe that God is not only good,
    He is goodness itself.
    God’s nature is goodness.
    His divine goodness is expressed in His relationship with all of mankind.

Psalm 145:8-9

12: Patience of God

A
12. We believe that God’s patience 
is His divine power of control 
that He exercises over Himself 
to refrain from punishing sinners. 
Thus, it is the act of God’s long suffering 
that keeps us from what we deserve.

  1. We believe that the grace of God is God’s free and spontaneous action taken to meet human needs especially in providing salvation and enabling the believer. It is God’s unmerited or unearned favor towards all mankind.

14: Mercy of God

A
  1. We believe that God’s mercy
    denotes the ready inclination of God
    to relieve the misery of fallen humanity.
    Thus it is God’s act of being compassionate.
Romans 9:15-16
For He says to Moses, 
“I will have mercy 
on whomever I will have mercy, 
and I will have compassion 
on whomever I will have compassion.” 
(16) So then it is not of him who wills, 
nor of him who runs, 
but of God who shows mercy.

15: Love of God

A
15. We believe that love 
is the very nature of God. 
God is love. 
It is God’s constant commitment and deep care about the needs of the people and world 
He created. 
His love is immutable.

John 3:16
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”

Romans 5:8
But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

16: Wrath of God

A
16. The wrath of God 
is His eternal definition for all unrighteousness. 
It is the Holiness of God 
stirred into activity against sin 
because He is holy 
and He hates sin.
Colossians 3:6
Because of these things 
the wrath of God 
is coming upon 
the sons of disobedience.
Ephesians 5:6

17: Contemplation of God

A
  1. God is eternal and infinite
    and far beyond our ability or capacity to understand Him.
    We as humans
    will never fully understand and comprehend
    His majesty, and completeness.
    God’s intellectual capacities
    cannot be measured or calculated.

Isaiah 55:8-9
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord.
(9) “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways,
And My thoughts than your thoughts.”

Romans 11:33
Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out!
