Writing Module Sections:
It lasts for 60 Minutes
Academic
Task 1: You will be given: Describe a Graph or Diagram or Chart or Table. You will be asked to describe it in your own words.
Task 2: You will be asked to write a SHORT Essay in response to a problem or situation or argument.
General Training Module:
Task 1: You will be asked to write a Letter in response to a situation or problem
Writing Module:
Important Points to Remember
a) Task 1: Write at least 150 Words
b) Task 2: Write at least 250 Words.
c) Task 2 is worth about twice the marks for Task 1.
d) Thus plan to spend about 20 Minutes on Task 1 and about 40 Minutes on Task 2.
e) Always keep track of time. And leave enough time to review your work.
f) Write in paragraphs and please make sure that each paragraph starts with a topic sentence. And the rest of the paragraph must support the topic sentence.
g) Examiners look for how value you organized your thoughts, your vocabulary, your use of grammar in your writing. Therefore your use of paragraphs make it easier for them to assess all this and give you high marks if you do it right.
h) In Task 2, make sure your Essay has an Introduction, Body and Conclusion!
In your Conclusion, make sure that you include your point of view!

Important Points to remember
a) Task 1: Write an Essay of about 150 Words and be sure to assign at least 20 Minutes on this Task.
b) In Task 2: Write an Essay of about 250 Words and assign about 40 Minutes on this Task. Also ensure that on writing this Task you include the following:
Introduction, Body and Conclusion. Also make sure that you include your Opinion or point of view in the Conclusion.
c) Always keep track of the time and make sure that you leave enough time to review your work at the end.
d) Always Write in Paragraphs and make sure that each paragraph starts with a topic sentence. Ensure that the rest of the sentences in the paragraph supports the topic sentence. This is because when Examiners look at your writing, they are looking for: how value you organized your thoughts, your vocabulary and your use of grammar. So when you use Paragraphs it gets easier for them to assess all this, especially in Task 2, have an Introduction, Body and Conclusion. Include your point of view in the Conclusion.

International tourism has brought enormous benefits to many places. At the same time, there is concern about its impact on local inhabitants and the environment. Do the Disadvantages of International tourism outweigh the Advantages?
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience. Write at least 250 words.
