Freuds study of little Hans
Humanistic psychologists favour it as they are concerned with the whole person and their subjective experience

A
Behaviourist psychologists produce general laws of behaviour such as operant and classical conditioning
Cognitive psychology also, aims to develop general laws which apply to all people such as understanding typical memory processes (but also uses idiographic approach)
