How is this phrased (where does the adjective go?)
- ‘J’ai les cheveux blonds et courts…’
- It goes AFTER the noun in this case.
Look carefully at the way it is phrased in French. Instead of ‘blonds, courts’ it will actually be: ‘blonds et courts’ to create the same meaning the comma does in English.
- Whenever there’s a comma… use ‘et’ and place adjectives AFTER the noun.
What do you do when there is a comma of two adjectives, in a phrase like this?
‘I have short, blond hair…’
- Use ‘et’ for the comma in this case (has same meaning)
- Adjective AFTER noun
