A key feature of SDG-3 Good health and wellbeing is to reduce the rates and impacts of a range of lifestyle diseases, such as CVD, diabeties, cancer, respiratory diseases, mental illnesses substance abuse, road traffic accidents and those caused by harmful chemicals.
A key feature of SDG-3 Good health and wellbeing is to end the epidemics of communicable diseases in particular HIV-AIDS, Tuberculosis, neglected tropical diseases, water borne diseases and hepatitis. Strategies implemented to address these communicable diseases include increasing access to medications, vaccinations, contraception and education.
