What is the spotlight effect?

A

The effect that our brains do that maximize a situation making us believe that all people are watching us. Is a social anxiety problem.

What is the 5 second rule?

A

Is the rule that helps you to take action in order to avoid your brain to think and stop you to do something.

Ej. Is cold and early and I want to get up and make excercise, as soon as I think about it GET OUT OF BED RIGHT AWAY, because if 5 seconds pass, your brain will kick in and convince you not to go to that difficult desition. (Its easy to stay in bed)

This rule can help you to stop negative thinking too. When you spot a negative thought, count to 5 as a trigger to stop that thought and then chalange that thought.

A

Is a genetic configuration that all people have that tells when what are the best hours to sleep. There are 4 chronotypes: bear, lion, dolphin and wolf.

What is paradoxical intention and how will it helps to overcome fear?

A

Is a method created by victor frankle that states that in order to overcome some fear you have to wish for them and laugh at them, not fight them. Ridiculus!
