Maquet SERVOi

A
STANDARD MODES
   Assist/Control CMV-Vol (VC)
   PCV (PC)
SIMV-VC (Vol. Cont), SIMV-PC (Press. Cont.)
   PRVC (PRVC), SIMV PRVC (SIMV-PRVC)
   PSV-CPAP, APRV (BiVent)

ADDITIONAL MODES
NAVA, VS

Features/Settings
MRI capable
Ultrasonic transducer
Active exhalation valve (if patient breaths 3cmH20 above the set pressure it will regulate it back down to set pressure, if the patient exceeds the upper pressure limit it will cycle to expiration)

AutoMode- shifts automatically within a breath among controlled ventilation, supported ventilation, and spontaneous ventilation based on the effort sensed from the patient.
VC or PRVC change to VSV
PC changes to PSV

Bias flow- 2 L/min (adult), 0.5 L/min (infant)
Green= flow triggered, Red= pressure triggered
3 hour max battery life
P0.1 (occlusion pressure)- indicator of respiratory drive

Covidien PB 840

A
STANDARD MODES
   Assist/Control CMV-Vol (A/C volume)
   PCV (A/C pressure)
   SIMV-VC (volume), SIMV-PC (pressure)
PRVC (VC+), SIMV PRVC (SIMV VC+)
PSV-CPAP (SPONT), APRV (BiLevel), NIV, Apnea Vent.

ADDITIONAL MODES
PAV+ /VS (Proportional Assist Ventilation)
-targets a pressure based on the selected percentage of support set by the RT and the flow and volume readings from the patient. Works to rhythmically unload the respiratory muscles
Neomode

Volume Support- pressure support ventilation with a volume target, like PRVC the ventilator adjust pressure to meet set Vt.
