Characteristics of Crohn’s disease?
A
Intermittent abdo pain
Young female
Cobblestone appearance
Distal ileum, mouth ulcers
Discrete areas, skip lesions

How does UC present?
A
- bimodal age presentation
- GI: diarrhoea (blood/mucus), tenesmus/urgency, LIF pain
- systemic: WL, fever
- o/e: pallor, clubbing, abdomen distended, tender
(Tenderness/blood/mucus on PR)

What are the extraintestinal manifestations of UC?
A
Derm:
- erythema nodosum
- pyoderma gangrenosum
Ocular:
- ant uveitis
- episcleritis
- conjunctivitis
MSK:
- clubbing
- non-deforming asymmetrical arthritis
- asacroiliitis
Hepatobiliary:
- PSC
AA amyloidosis (2ry to chronic inflammation)
