How is an old-fashioned HDD aufgebaut?
A
- The HDD consists of 512-Bytes blocks numbered 0 - n-1
- There are rotating disks, which is separated into multiple tracks. On the tracks there are the blocks
- The blocks are read with a disk head
- Read and write of the blocks are atomic
